Aspiring to a simplicity and a circulating and harmonious autonomy of colors, I could not help but structure these colored matters, always separating me more from my first ambition.

Also, I name this paradox of "New York in Africa"

Africa, seen from the sky, is an open space where colors and shapes mingle. New York is the quintessence of the structuring of spaces and the interweaving of volumes. My ideal is Africa, but I can not help but produce New York.

The paradox of my approach became such that I no longer thought I could, at certain moments, find the expected outcome of the painting. I gave up trying to find the solution, covering all or part of my web with symbolic waters and unresolved hypotheses.

Finally, although I imposed myself / impose myself to have no idea a priori of the subject of the canvas, it is possible that during the course, or even once the canvas completed, a process of put in place: either I head for figuration, or these clusters incoherent for others, become meaningful for me.
